Lundi, le 7 Février 2022

Thomas Bossart, an insurance specialist with a consulting background, is joining La Mobilière. Effective 1 April, he will be taking over as Head of Life & Pensions and an Executive Board member from Jean-Philippe Moser, who is leaving the Group.

The Board of Directors of La Mobilière Holding Ltd has selected him to become the new Head of Life & Pensions. Thomas Bossart (34) has been working for McKinsey & Company for the past ten years, most recently as Associate Partner. He specialised in insurance and has overseen a multitude of projects for P&C and life insurers. He has also been involved in several projects for La Mobilière, during which time he has become familiar with the group.

Thomas Bossart holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of St Gallen and an MSc degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was also awarded an MBA from INSEAD.

“Thomas Bossart has gained a broad invaluable experience through insurance industry collaboration and possesses proven strategic capabilities,” says CEO Michèle Rodoni. “I’m delighted he has decided to join La Mobilière and firmly believe that the Life & Pensions division will continue to grow successfully and profitably under his leadership.”

Jean-Philippe Moser has led the Life & Pensions division since 2019. He is leaving La Mobilière on his own initiative. Jean-Philippe Moser (49) has carefully expanded the product range and overseen the introduction of proactive insurance-linked savings, the One Invest tranche-based product and the new pension fund for SMEs. All these are now major contributors to the Life & Pensions division’s growth and success. “These solutions provide our customers with clear added value and support the Life & Pension division’s strategic ambitions,” adds Michèle Rodoni. The Board of Directors and Executive Board would like to place on record their gratitude to Jean-Philippe Moser for all his hard work.
