When Peter Brawand, 58, presents the annual results of la Mobilière for the twentieth time next spring, he will be doing so for the last time. The business economist (lic.oec. HSG) and qualified auditor has been in charge of the company’s finances since 1 June 2004. This includes the Mobilière Group’s accounting, controlling, risk management and financial communications. Among other things, he has established today’s planning and reporting processes and the corporate strategy development process and introduced the Swiss Solvency Test (SST) and economic value management. Furthermore, as a member of the Executive Board, he has been Deputy CEO since 2014.  
 
The premium volume has risen by CHF 2 billion to CHF 4.5 billion during Peter Brawand’s term of office. Capital and reserves have tripled to CHF 6 billion – a figure that reflects the company’s security and stability. In order to manage the financial processes more digitally, a new standard software from SAP was recently introduced. At the same time, the last 20 years have also been shaped by the financial crisis in 2008, the low-interest rate period, acquisitions, the corona years and increasing regulation.

We would already like to thank him today for his many years of trustworthy and successful work and wish him all the best.»
